Amy Smart has been a model, actress and a former American. Born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. She began her acting career at the age of 16 in The TV movie Her Costly Affair. The struggle she had to get an appearance on Starship Troopers, a film that featured mostly minor roles, was extremely intense. The transition was difficult for Amy because she had transition from modelling to the acting profession. Models aren't thought of as great actors and so tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Amy did not give up. She climbed the ladder to bigger roles.
