Jillian Nellie Hennely was born 25 November, 1968. She is a renowned Canadian actor and singer who has made an important contribution to American TV. She was an actor in the American television series Law & Order, where she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her talent in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also wrote and directed these films. Hennessy began her career in 1988, alongside her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. She starred for a brief time on Broadway in the musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, before moving into the world of science fiction in 1993 in the role of the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the autumn of that year, she was a part of the crew of the NBC popular crime show Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Her three-season stint in the character was well-loved by viewers. She left in 1996. Parker is well-known for her role in films or series, as well as TV shows such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side and the West Wing Angels of America. She received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress as well as An Emmy Award. Parker was also honored with the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part in the role of Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
